PERSONALITY:
Since this is before breaking dawn time, Kate is a “purist” along with her sisters. Due to her mother’s passing for creating an immortal child, she has a respect for the Volturi and their vampire laws. Though when push comes to shove, she will eventually break those laws for her loved ones. She rather be on the side of her loved ones over sitting on the sidelines to save herself. The veggie vampire is extremely passionate and determined. When she loves someone or something, she tends to love them with all her heart. Which also makes her extremely loyal to her loved ones.
She also takes pleasure in the company of men. Both human and vampire, Katrina enjoys their company and many other things about them. She even felt guilty when she had to kill some of them, due to her having a conscience. But of course that never stopped her from doing it again. As of right now, Kate does not believe in monogamy. Which will eventually change when she meets Garrett.
Kate is also an extremely laid-back vampire. She has a habit of rolling her eyes a lot. Other than immortal children, she does not fear danger or even death. Which could be a big problem for both her and her family. She tends to jump into danger for the fun of it, fortunately for her it has yet to be her downfall. Her emotions and power is often intertwined so when she is feeling distressed or angry, her power goes into overdrive.

“Ready, se---Kate!” Tanya screeched as Kate smirked and sprinted off into the snowy forest. She let out a musical laugh as she bounced off the trees with incredible force. Kate had talked her sister into having a hunting competition. Who could catch, feed, and be home first? Whoever wins got first dibs on the group guys they see. It was something her sisters always did, well not Irina anymore since she had Laurent. So Tanya and Kate were on their own, trying to find their next pleasure. And Kate was determined to get first dibs. She was sick of Tanya always winning and picking her guy out first. But to be honest, Kate would have fun either way. But this way she could one up her sister, something she enjoyed doing on occasion. So she sprinted off before Tanya could finish her countdown. Was it cheating yes, but who cares!
Chuckling at her own thoughts, Kate kept running. She refused to look back and see where her sister was. It would only distract her, and that’s not what she wanted. Kate came to a sudden halt and glanced around the trees. She sniffed the air and caught the scent of a wolf. It was feint but she was able to detect it with her vampire senses. It was a beautiful thing to have your senses heightened. If it wasn’t for the whole blood situation, Kate would absolutely love being a vampire. The heightened senses, the strength, the speed. It was all so beautiful in her mind. The female vampire jerked herself to the right and rushed over to where the wolf scent was coming from. She came to a halt again, when she caught site of the animal. Smirking, she crouched down into the snow. With her pale skin and bleach blonde hair she was able to blend. Well not completely since she was wearing semi-dark clothing.
She brushed a few blonde strands behind her ear as her body tensed up. Within seconds, Kate was on her feet, tackling the beast to the ground. As she straddled the beast, she grabbed the head and jerked it sharply to the right. The crack of bones rang in her ears unpleasantly as the body went limp. “Sorry buddy,” she whispered as she pulled her hair back. Her body tensed once more has her teeth pierced its skin. The warm blood ooze out of the wound and trailed down her mouth as she sucked the poor animal dry. She sucked a little more, just to make sure all the blood was gone. The female ripped her teeth out and quickly wiped the leftover blood from her mouth. She glanced sadly at the wolf’s corpse. Some guilt began to rise within her, she shook her head. She didn’t have time for that, she had to when the competition.
Her feet pushed forcefully off the snowy ground; she pumped her arms as she began to sprint through the woods. She felt the forceful wind blew through her long blonde hair. She saw her family’s house in the distance. Kate internally cheered as she stopped right in front of the porch. Grabbing onto the railing, she swung herself over it and landed gracefully on the porch. The female vampire smirked at the empty woods. Leaning against the house, she waited for Tanya to get back home. She couldn’t wait to see her sister’s face. She had won and now she was going to reap the benefits. “I’m never going to let her live this down,” Kate joked with herself.
