And the award for the most happy go lucky shifter ever goes to-
Okay, no, seriously- Seth would probably win that one. He's your typical cheerful, fun-loving, energetic kid... who just kind of happens to phase and turn into a wolf every once in a while. Unlike a lot of the shifters on the reservation, Seth never had any problems with accepting what he was, even after phasing early under could surely be considered unpleasant circumstance (as soon as someone explained to him what had happened, he thought the whole thing was pretty cool). And he never had any problems accepting what anyone else was (you know, the whole 'all-vampires-are-evil-and-need-to-die' thing) either. All in all, he just tries not to have many problems. After all, everyone else seems to have more than enough to go around.
Now, Seth likes people. He likes being with people, talking to people, and making friends with people. He's very friendly, very open minded. He's easy to impress, and he definitely has a bit of a hero worship thing going on with some of the older shifters. When he looks up to someone, he's incredibly loyal, but that comes with a bit of tag-along behavior. Some of them- okay, most of them, think that he can be annoying.But it's not his fault that they're all either 'doom and gloom' or 'i want to punch a wall' all the time.Sometimes he doesn't know when to shut up with the questions or keep his (highly amusing) honest thoughts to himself.
Despite the fact that he can be childish and annoying, he has a lot of respect for people, and he's (usually) always a very kind, good-hearted person. He has a mind of his own, strong morals, and he'll disobey orders if he believes in his head that that's the right thing to do. The thing is, he's still waiting for the other shifters to show him some respect... or at least figure out that he isn't five years old. (I mean, he tells them all the time but one day it's going to click.) He can handle himself (more than that actually, he has the best hearing and is the second fastest in the pack), and even though he doesn't feel like he has anyone he needs to prove it to, it bothers him when they treat him like he's a little kid and they make him sit around while there is something that he could be doing.
RP SAMPLE:
"Hey Leah! Guess what?" Ooor not. (Cue the slamming door.) Was she always this touchy? He swore she wasn't always this touchy. I mean, he got it- she was still upset about Sam but... that didn't mean that they all had to be miserable all the time. Lately it seemed like the whole reservation was in as bad a mood as his sister. And Seth loved his sister.. but one of her was definitely enough.
Of course, he couldn't be in a bad mood if he wanted to because nobody told him anything. Other than Sam and Leah breaking up, and some new girl showing up at Forks (which he really didn't understand why people were so concerned with) nothing had changed except the fact that every other guy looked like they were ready to explode at any given moment. Oh, and the weather...Maybe everyone was just hot.. and that s what had them so irritable. Yeah, that could have explained it.
Whatever it was that was going on, it was going to be fine- he really believe that it was going to be all fine... Aaaand cue the screaming. Well, it wasn't screaming at first. Just Leah.. being Leah. He could hear every word she was saying, but he didn't think too much of it until she got quiet. Her voice was replaced by a less familiar noises and Seth ran to peek into the room. Lets just, okay.. he wished he hadn't.
"What happened? What's happening? Where's Leah?" He was at their side almost immediately. Bombarding his mother with questions wasn't going to help anything, but you couldn't blame him. There was a strange noise, his sister was gone, and his dad was barely breathing. "Do something!" Do..what... yeah, he had no idea. It was getting harder and harder to calm down and focus on what his mother was saying..or asking..or telling him to do (he didn't know, see how that works?). Her mouth was moving but it was like there was no words coming out. And then all of a sudden..someone somewhere turned the sound back on... on full volume.. and pushed rewind and fast forward all at the same time.
He couldn't make out any of it at first. He just tried to push it all away. He didn't know what it was and he didn't want to. Then he heard Leah's name and then her voice. W-whats going on? He backed up a few steps cautiously, first becoming aware of the fact that he wasn't standing up..and he couldn't stand up..and there were clothes on the floor..and..and... okay, now he was confused. Now he was freaking out. Later, he'd have no idea why he started running. But at the moment, it seemed like the only option in the world.
