[/div] Emma quickly dialed the phone to call one of the few people she actually had in her contacts. “Pick up!” Emma sang into the receiver as she walked into Matt’s house. The phone kept ringing as Emma threw the spare key onto the coffee table and she took the phone away from her mouth, “Matt!” she called into the house. It was noon, well eleven o’clock, so that meant that Matt was still sleeping. Sighing, heavily she finally heard a voice on the other end of the phone. “Nash! Hey it’s Emma. Obviously, you have caller ID and I’m relatively sure you have my voice in your memory. But anyways, I have decided we are going on an adventure. Me, you, and of course Matthew, speaking of which…give me a moment, I’m putting you on speaker while I do this.” While she was ranting to Nash she was making her way to Matt’s room. His bedroom door was of course closed. She pressed the speaker button, making sure it was on. Once that was done Emma lifted her foot and karate kicked the door wide open. “MATT!” she sang loudly before jumping on his bed. The girl quickly made sure her phone was okay, putting it on a nightstand. With Nash still on speaker. “Matt!” she sang once more, sitting on top of him, straddling him. Even if the two of them weren’t dating Emma would still do this. Actually she would do this with Nash because she was just that close to both boys. The girl softly laid her head on his back, making sure he was still alive. He was, good. She pulled back and grinned. “Wake up!” she cheered, patting his back lightly, also in a rhythmic kind of way. That would probably put him back to sleep. Of course he was probably already up and just ignoring her.

"Big wheels keep on turning-" Yeah, Im gonna be obnoxious and start this post off with a ringtone. Any awesome ringtone, but anyway. Nash had been driving (to where- don't ask me), and he picked up his phone and glanced at the name, not that he really had to to know that it was Emma. I mean, April didn't call him, it was too early for Matt to be awake, and anyone else who might have played a role in his life had long since figured out that he wasn't going to pick up. "Hey ." Emma immediately went about introducing herself and telling Nash that she had plans for him and Matt to go on an adventure with her. "Matt's awake?" he asked, genuinely surprised by that (the adventure thing was pretty normal for them). He pulled the car over as she told him to wait, keeping the phone near his ear and listening to her move around. Crash. "Did you just kick the door open?" The door.. that didn't have a lock.. Sometimes he wondered why he ever left them alone. Emma called Matt's name a few times and then yelled at him to wake up and Nash chuckled as the guy started showing signs of life. Or well, signs of not being very pleased with life. You'd think he'd have gotten over their daily routeen by now. "Mornin' sunshine." Yeah, they were obnoxious. What else is new? "C'mon, liven up. Apparently Em's got plans for us."

Matt! He really needed to go buy a new alarm clock. Preferably one that didn’t work. That’d be perfect. They weren’t supposed to work. He needed to return Emma for a full refund. He didn’t hear her yelling until she was actually on top of him. He couldn’t be mad at Emma, but he wasn’t going to be cheerful either. Cheerful didn’t happen until four… or caffeine. Whichever happened first. He moaned and pulled his pillow over his head as Emma started pounding on his back. They didn’t make it very easy to sleep through. Yea—they. Because apparently the morning was ‘party in Matt’s room’ time. He’d have asked something along the lines of ‘Is that Nash?’ but he wasn’t coherent yet and so he sort of just laid there confused until he came to and realized he was on the phone. Wake up! ”I’m awake, Em,” he muttered though his face was still against his bed—his head covered by a pillow. He did finally sit up and turn to Emma, staring at her in a daze while his double vision focused into one. Mornin’ sunshine. ”Shut up.” He wasn’t actually angry with them—but they knew what this was. This was Matt in the morning and they shouldn’t have expected otherwise. C’mon, liven up. Apparently Em’s got plans for us. He looked at her curiously. ”Do we?” He didn’t even know how concerned he should have been about that. You never knew with Emma. He slowly threw all the shit off his bed (yanno, sheets, clothes, shoes, food wrappers) and stood up, changing his shirt and grabbing a jacket. ”I’m awake,” he repeated, as if it made it more true. For the record… he wasn’t awake. He put an arm around Emma while reaching for her phone, speaking obnoxiously loudly into the microphone. ”Good morning, Nash.”

[/div] Emma wasn’t surprised at Nash’s question about Matt being awake. It was 11. She let out a chuckle but distracted herself to not comment on it. Did you just kick the door open? “Yes,” Emma muttered, lying wasn’t a talent of hers. It was just a door. Nothing really special, Nash and Matt could just fix it later. Or Emma could, just tell her how and she’ll do it. She did have that werewolf strength and all. The guys didn’t even have to do anything. Emma glanced down at Matt and grinned. “He lives!” she cheered and let out a chuckle before getting off Matt and rolling onto his bed. She heard a crinkle from underneath her, sitting up she saw a Reeses wrapper under her. She grabbed the wrapper and tossed it on the floor. “One of these days I’m going to have to clean this room…” Emma muttered lifting up a pillow and found more candy wrappers. Seriously? She just lightly put the pillow down over the wrappers pretending like she didn’t see them. Which was harder said than done. And then Nash decided to open the obnoxious can of worms that Matt responded with an ever so eloquent ‘shut up’. Really it was pretty much a mystery someone like her got along with people like them. But Emma didn’t mind. She loved Matt and Nash, they were pretty amazing. Nash was like her older brother and Matt was…well he’s her boyfriend. Which is equally as amazing. They were just amazing people, that’s why Emma stayed around them. Well that and Emma kind of needed them to survive. Just like they needed her to survive, no matter what either party said. ”Do we?” She smiled at Matt and nodded vigorously. “Yup! It’s going to be fun, I swear!” She bounced over to him and quickly gave him a quick kiss on the cheek before he finally got out of bed and decided to change. Emma sprang to feet, jumped on the bed a few times, and finally jumped off the bed to the floor, without hurting herself by the way. She grabbed her phone back from the night stand and was about to speak to Nash when Matt took the phone from her and put an arm on her shoulder. Em wrapped one of her arms around Matt’s waist before taking her phone back. “Nash! Can you just pick us up from Matt’s? I have the directions to where we’re going. I set everything up this morning!” Yup, it was going to be a surprise. Emma had called the bungee jumping place, asked a billion and one questions, and made an appointment. The instructor, overseer person, gave her the address to the place they were going to bungee jump over and told her to meet him up there. Apparently they weren’t the only ones going bungee jumping this morning. Which means they weren’t going to be alone for this adventure! Matt had nothing to worry about. And yes this secret was killing her on the inside, especially since she decided not to tell either one of them where they were going. Emma quickly hung up the phone before Nash or Matt could say anything else to each other. “Come on!” Em took her arm from around Matt’s waist, quickly grabbed his hand, and dragged him to the drive way where Nash was going to be.

So Emma and Matt were both ridiculous. But seriously, Nash had learned this day one and was no longer surprised by anything either of them did or said. "Shut up." "I'll remember that in a minute when you ask me to bring back food." Nash was very aware how morning-Matt worked. He was also extremely good at sobering him up. "One of these days I'm going to have to clean this room." "It's a lost cause Em. I'm pretty sure Matt's not the only living thing in there." Yeah, you'd think that was funny, until you saw Matt's room. Totally probable situation here. Although Nash was clearly still just messing with him. It was a good morning for that. Well, all mornings were pretty good for that. This is what Matt got for only taking responsibly eight hours a day. Nash stayed quiet as the younger guy kept trying to assert that he was awake (it would take a good few times before either of them actually believed him). All of a sudden he was on the phone being obnoxious. "Good morning Nash." He held the phone away from his ear until he was done."Now he's awake." Emma took the phone back and started going on about directions and things. "Yup. Be there in a minute." He'd pretty much already turned around and started driving towards the house anyway. He dropped the phone onto the other seat when she hung up and met the two of them out in the driveway. He waited for them to get in (they were taking his car and he was driving Matt's say was nonexistent) before turning to Emma. "So where are we going."

So where were we? Oh yea. Assholes in Matt’s room. I’ll remember that in a minute when you ask me to bring back food. ”Wait. I’m sorry…...Can you bring back food?” He wanted food. He just wanted food. ”If you clean my room, I won’t have a clue where anything is.” Seriously he didn’t see what the problem was. It’s going to be fun I swear! ”You concern me,” he teased, though agreeing to go. He knew it didn’t matter much if he agreed anyway and he didn’t feel like getting physically dragged out. Now he’s awake. ”Yup. Miss me?” Anyway soon Nash was being summoned and Matt got into Nash’s car. ”Heyyy Nash. Buddy,” he said, patting Nash on the shoulder from behind him (the girl with directions needed to be in the passenger seat). Yeaa, he wanted food. Matt looked at Emma curiously when Nash asked where they were going. ”It better not involve a scary movie.” Yea. We’re going there.

What a shocker, both Nash and Matt were talking about giving food to Matt. Really it wasn’t a surprise at all for Emma. Like she said in another thread, there hasn’t been a time she’s known when Matt wasn’t hungry. He just liked to eat, whatever. It had to be the werewolf metabolism mixed with growing boy syndrome. What Emma has decided to call it. Of course she had the shifter metabolism too but she wasn’t hungry twenty-four-seven. Hyper on the other hand, yea she lived in the state of hyper-tivity. It’s a lost cause Em. She heaved a heavy sigh, “Nothing is a lost cause, Nash! And the fact that something else might be living in here is the precise reason why it should be cleaned.” Couldn’t argue with that logic really. Of course Matt brought up the point that he wouldn’t be able to find anything if she did clean up. “You find things now?” she asked curiously, not sarcastically. Emma was actually curious as to how this disorganized filing system worked. If it worked for Matt then who was she to say otherwise, but of course she found no proof that he actually could find things now. And if did find something, i.e. socks or underwear, who’s to say they would be clean! Emma wasn’t the neatest person in the world. Quite frankly her room was a bit of a mess too, but this…this was like a tornado named Matt blew through the room and this is what was left. Was Emma over dramatizing it? Probably. But that was Emma, how else was she supposed to get her point across? You concern me. “I concern myself sometimes,” the girl blurted out. Again, no sensor Emma. She smiled at Matt as they went to the driveway to wait for Nash. It didn’t take long for the older boy to get there. She grinned and took out into a sprint to his car. Emma jumped into the front seat, grabbing Nash’s phone beforehand as to not sit on it. “NASH!” she exclaimed, throwing her arms around Nash to give him a giant hug. She was just so excited about their adventure. Emma pulled back as Matt got in the car and greeted their packmate, it was very obvious Matt was being extra nice for food. So where are we going? Emma was about to pull out her phone and answer him when her boyfriend spoke. It better not involve a scary movie. The girl quickly flushed and turned back to Matt. “I told you I was sorry for that, Matt!” Clearly the guilt was still eating at Emma. She turned back to Nash, “can you drive through somewhere so I can get Matt some food?” Emma gave Nash sad, pleading eyes. Once it was obvious the car was moving, whether or not to a food place (though it probably was because Nash can’t say no to Emma, obviously), Emma grabbed her phone and texted Nash the directions to the bungee jump location. Once his phone went off in her hand, she opened the text message and put the phone on Nash’s lap. “That’s where the adventure is taking place! Tally-ho!” Yes someone put sugar in her Lucky Charms this morning.

"Wait. I'm sorry… Can you bring back food?" Nash rolled his eyes and laughed a little. "You're subtlety is amazing." Knowing Matt wasn't going to let it go until he received a confirmation Nash added, "I'll think about it" before, thankfully, Emma took the phone. She seemed dead set on organizing Matt's cave room and despite not seeing much point in the idea Nash wasn't going to go out of his way to stop her. "Just be careful… Don't get yourself bit or breathe in toxic fumes or something." Yeah, so Emma was dramatizing it.. Nash was dramatizing it (although really, it was pretty awful). Basically, the two of them were just ganging up on Matt like the wonderful people that they were. "You concern me." "I concern myself sometimes." "You both concern me." Matt started to get obnoxious which meant that he may be awake enough to remember this conversation in a few hours (though it wasn't likely). Nash smirked. "Miss me?" "Nope." Finally he pulled in front of the house and within two seconds Emma was hugging him and Matt was being a kiss ass. Good to know they missed in so much in those two minutes since he'd hung up the phone. He hugged Emma back and rolled his eyes at Matt. "It better not involve a scary movie." "What about a haunted house?" … Obviously Nash was nowhere near as guilty as Emma was about that particular event. Emma asked if Nash would get Matt food and did the whole puppy dog pleading eyes thing.. Nash gave an exaggerated sigh though he was smiling at her.. Yeah, Emma usually got her way. The way things were looking, Matt was probably going to need a little bribery anyhow. Nash started driving while Emma played with her phone… And then his phone went off… And she handed it to him… So maybe Matt wasn't the only one who needed to work on his subtlety. He opened it up, reading the address and giving Emma a look. He still had no idea what she'd set up for them.. but from what he could put together, it was definitely beginning to look like more of an adventure than he'd been expecting. He put the phone down on the.. yanno that thing in the front between the seats specifically for putting stuff and pulled into a drive through. He opened Matt's window and glanced back at him. "Reasonable amount of food for three people. Nothing that's gonna make me regret letting you into my car." While he was busy probably abusing that privilege to hell, Nash sent Emma a text. "On a scale of one to tell, how much is Matt going to kill you for this?"
