ABILITY: she does not have any special abilities, but her love and compassion for others was magnified even more so after being changed.
PERSONALITY:
Esme is a very motherly, compassionate woman. She is kind to everyone and likes to help others. She is very easily accepting and warm. She is extremely loyal and loving toward her family and would do anything for them. Even though she hates the idea of hurting others, she will protect her family at any cost, even if it means fighting against someone else and causing the loss of their life. She is not extremely strong, but she can hold her own.
A very creative and intelligent individual, Esme enjoys interior design as a hobby. She has three college degrees- one in architecture, one in art, and one in photography. Esme loves to use these degrees in her everyday life, and often designs new houses both on the outside and the inside. She's always decorating around the house and takes great pride and enjoyment in it.
Overall, Esme is extremely supportive of her family and is a very open and accepting woman. She is gentle and understanding, and a wonderful mother figure and wife.
RP SAMPLE:
It was a rainy day, and a Monday at that. That meant school for the children and work for Carlisle, which basically meant that Esme was alone in the house for the day. Perhaps she would do some sketching- she had some great ideas lately, one in particular being a new bookshelf. She had wanted to go with a more abstract theme, and had been thinking of it for a while before she was able to come up with a clear idea in her head that would allow her to sketch out some blueprints.
Sitting at her desk, Esme began sketching out the concept of her bookshelf. After an hour, she found that she was extremely pleased with the way it turned out. She decided to go to the local furniture and carpentry store where she was a loyal patron to turn in her blueprints.
Once there, she smiled warmly at the clerk who recognized her immediately. "What can I do for you today, Mrs Cullen?" he asked her. Esme handed him her blueprints. "Can I get this made in mahogany please?" she asked pleasantly, already excited about the prospect of her new bookshelf, and hoping that it would turn out well. It would be the perfect place to store- well, she hadn't thought of a proper use for it yet but she knew exactly where she wanted it in the house and she was sure it would be very useful. Paying for her order and thanking the workman, Esme left the store to return to her home. She wanted to add the second coat of paint to the outside door before everyone got home, because it needed a few hours to dry properly. Even though she was very happy with her home, she was always tweaking things here and there, adding and taking away furniture, painting and re-painting. That's what was so much fun about having such a nice house- there were so many great opportunities! Esme smiled to herself as she began painting. She hoped everyone would like the new bookshelf!
