Jane Volturi, one could say she really was a witch, in the respect that she is able to make others suffer without much effort on her part. But really is just her appearance that scares most people how a child can hold so much power and use it without reason or thought, or on the orders of her Master. She was a weapon one that was used to strike fear into the hearts of anyone that opposes the Volturi.
The next question is, what was she doing outside Volterra without her brother or other members of the Volturi guard. The answer, Aro had ordered her to go to check on some of the newborns that where running around. Why Aro lets them exist is something Jane really cant figure out. But she would never question her master, it was not the person she was.
She does not question orders just carries them out as does her brother, the twins do love to torment people for no reason what so ever. And with the all the newborns running around, Jane has the job of keeping them all in line. Most times she just flat out kills them; but if they happen to get on her bad side, they would die or wish their where.
Jane was at the present walking along the outskirts of Port Angeles. Much to Jane's lack of amusement, Aro had ordered her to wear something that would allow her to blend in and fight in if the need arose. Jane hated pretty much every town beside Volterra.
After all it was her home, and home is where the heart is or in her case her Master and Brother. Jane began to notice an unknown scent of someone closing in behind her she could not tell if it was human or vampire at this present moment.
She did not fear anyone beside her Master, so if this person wished to harm Jane then they could give it a shot but in the end once they make eye contact with her, their life will expire at her hands. This is one of the reasons she is one of the most feared members of the guard along with her brother

Nikita sat in front of the mirror at her dresser. She loved going out and getting all dressed up, it was her thing. Heck what girl wouldn't like shopping? She was headed out to Port Angeles today and going on a well earned shopping spree. It had been awhile since people noticed what she was wearing and she figured it was time for a change now. Finishing her hair she looked it over and sprayed from hair spray on it, just a little to keep it in place. The curls she wore were perfect, although her hair was naturally wavy she preferred to curl it and give it the extra bit of bounce. She smiled at her own reflection. So she liked to look good and get all dressed up, it was no big deal really. She just like to be a normal teenage girl, if that was even possible. Slipping on her shoes she applied a layer of lip gloss to her lips. She never wore lipstick, it was disgusting and never lasted anyway, she preferred to have the shine.
Heading down stairs Kita grabbed a jacket and her keys and headed out. It wasn't exactly a long drive to the shops which was helpful, but it was better than trying to shop anywhere around Forks. This place was seriously sparse of all things clothes and fashion. Port Angeles was al right though so she couldn't exactly complain too much. Her music started playing and she smiled at the song. Holding on and letting go by Ross Copperman. It was one pretty song that she loved. Singing along she headed down the free way and yet her thoughts were straying. She didn't want to go back to school but more than anything she missed her brother. She hadn't seen him in soo long and it was bringing her down more than she would like to admit. She wished he would just call, everyone was soo worries about him.
Pulling up into a parking spot she glanced around her. It was a nice day for this place. Yes it was still cloudy but it was warm, almost humid. Strange weather for this town, it was normally cold and raining. Adding that extra bit of lip-gloss she headed out of her car grabbing her bag and locking it behind her. She glanced around to find people milling about the streets either enjoying the weather or on a shopping spree like Kita would be very soon. She needed her coffee fix though and straightening her dress she headed down town, she knew exactly where to go now she had been here more than a few times. The coffee place was open for which she was thankful for. She entered the room into air conditioning although it wasn't nearly warm enough for that. Oh well. She stood in the line and waited.
She ordered her coffee and looked outside. Everyone was going about their business but as it was a weekend she could see groups of girls going shopping. She wished her best friend had come with her. No they had all bailed. Not that Kita didn't mind shopping alone, it was shopping either way. It was just more enjoyable when you got to model different sets of clothes. Grabbing her order of black coffee with two sugars she headed outside. Her phone went off in her bag and she stopped dead in her tracks and ruffled around for it. Why did she always carry such a big bag when it was so hard to find what she was after inside of it? Soon she would learn, well at least hopefully. She let out a frustrated sigh as she continued to look through it.

Jane often missed not being able to taste food or drink for what he really was. To her it tasted like Ash, but their had been moments when she needed to eat to keep up the ruse of being a human girl. It took her second to notice that it was a young human girl and not a vampire. She should of known she could not avoid the humans forever, after all she is in the city full of them.
Jane found it hard to blend in with humans, she never really was the social type of person. Aro and Alec, where the only people she would ever be social with, for the three of them share a bond that cannot be broken by anyone or anything knew. Jane never had any regrets about what she had done over her lifetime, but sometimes she wished she could of grown up before Aro saved and turned her and her brother.
But since young as she was, does carry its own rewards, for when people look at her all they see happens to be a young girl without her parents. That is what allowed Jane to lure humans in, and kill them if she had to. Aro had ordered her not to feed or kill well she was within the city limits.
But he did not say anything about her using her ability to amuse her self. After all she could do it without people knowing it was her, that was one of best things about illusions. No one knows the mastermind behind them and no one expects a young girl to be the one pulling the strings.
She would then turn and begin walking back down the street she had just walked up; it would be at this point that she would notice a human, she would seem to be confused and looking for something in her bag. This amused Jane; humans where so feeble and worry and panic over trivial things, she would simply say with a slight grin.
“You look rather helpless and confused their.” Jane could not stand humans let alone be in the presence of one. “Technology.. its such feeble thing, why do you need something that simplistic to talk to someone.” Jane knew what a cellphone sounded like, but personally did not have or want one.
“Just dispose of it? It is clear you can not keep track of such a simplistic device.” Jane was trying to be polite in her own special way but this girl reminded her of so many like her that Jane had killed in her life, maybe she should add this girl to the list of her kills.
