The world is finally a peaceful place. Everyone lives in harmony. What's wrong with that someone would ask? Well, for starters, it's no longer our world.
The Parasites made their way into our lives, living amongst us... taking us... At first we didn't notice. They kept our habits so well. When we finally did, it was too late. It wasn't long before there were fewer and fewer humans in the world. The news was riddled with uninteresting and unexciting stories of the world at peace. A world that was no longer ours.
Its been almost ten years since Melanie and Wanderer were separated from one another. Ever since, they have been trying to find other groups of humans that are still alive, and rebellious Souls who, like Wanda, have become attached to the human way of life. And so far the Cave Rebels have been successful. They have found more pockets of Rebel forces, more than they originally thought possible. And there are still some humans out there, wandering, with no idea of the rebels still living in hiding.
Now, a war is coming. The Rebels, now with more numbers, is gearing up to take on the Souls. The Seekers, of course, won't stand for that. They're recruiting as many new Souls as they can, in hopes of defeating the rebellion. As the numbers grow on either side, the casualties grow as well. Rebels are becoming more determined, bolder even. And the Seekers are coming down to there to their last resources.
Everyone knows there is a war coming. And in the end, all of us, humans and Souls alike, will all be
