So Quinn will not pull a Devon and start stripping in this thread. Why? Well because she was barely wearing any clothes to begin with. The perks of living with only your twin brother, no parental disapproving looks when you walked out the door with no clothes on. Actually no disapproving parental look when you did anything wrong really. And Quinn did a lot of stuff wrong. Potato chips for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Playing pranks on multiple people all the time. Underage drinking, when she was underage. Partying all the time with her brother and random strangers that could probably rape her. Stealing things. Honestly the only crime Quinn probably didn’t commit was murder and drug-usage. Alcohol was enough for her and even though she didn’t like people, she would never kill another being.
So anyways there she was, once again wandering through the very familiar forest. Well it wasn’t familiar in the fact that she knew where she was going. It was familiar as in all the trees looked the same. Though after a couple days of venture she learned there were actually cliffs around here somewhere. So not everything was familiar. But ninety percent of it was. And that was a big enough percent to complain about it. She missed the California scenery. The ocean, the mountains, the palm trees, the sand…the sun. Oh, the sun! How she missed that heat and the sunbathing she used to do all the time. Even though with her new genes Quinn was always hot, she still missed sitting on a beach in her bikini with the sun blazing on her. Okay maybe not sitting on the beach. More like playing a beach sport or setting up a prank on the helpless people around her.
Regardless, Quinn missed it. This little town was rainy, cloudy. Humid, muggy. All the things Quinn hated about the outdoors. She didn’t mind the cold and snow. But the rain and the humidity, yea that was something she couldn’t really deal with. At least up in Alaska they still had sun. It wasn’t as hot as California but it was still there. Unlike here, where there was no sun anywhere. The clouds covered everything and the rain made it virtually impossible to have a perfect run through the trees. Though it made a beautiful place for those leeches Quinn heard all about. She really didn’t meet any of them yet in her life time. But she smelled them everywhere and heard about them from everybody. Well not directly, through whispers and easy reading of people’s body language.
Whatever it was, Quinn did not like it. But that didn’t stop her from traveling to the cliffs in short jean shorts and a black bikini top. She had on her old worn out sneakers, the one thing that may be stripped off. She pushed against the ground and turned around a couple of trees before pausing briefly. So ever since her brother and her run in with Keisha she had ventured out a couple of times and found a few cliffs. Cliffs that were perfect to dive off of on boring days, such as this one. It was weird being without her brother for the first time in 21 years. She had ditched him a while back. He wanted to continue through the trees and she wanted to dive off the cliffs. So she ditched him.
Quinn took a sharp left and found herself on one of the cliffs she was looking for. Finally. Quinn was starting to lose her mind. She felt a smile crawl along her lips and she neared the edge of the cliff. She could smell the ocean, the salt, the fish. For a moment Quinn actually felt like she was home again. But then she caught the scent of another shifter and reality set back in. The girl twin knew this was some other pack’s territory. She just didn’t care. Call her reckless, stupid, anything that could relate to this situation. Quinn was Quinn. There was no changing that. Including her supreme lack of people skills. “Either join me or leave because I really don’t care who’s territory this is,” Quinn stated bluntly.
