Tristan was bored out of his mind tonight. And he was a little hungry. But the hunger didn’t bug him so much. He honestly didn’t care much about the hunger. He hadn’t seen Gwen since their encounter at the dinner where she worked. Part of him wanted to forget about her, but then again another part of him wanted to just go out and find her again. Tonight though, he wanted to have some fun. It had been a really long time since he had any fun. There was something about that that honestly kind of pissed him off. Tonight, he was young… (well not really, but he looked it) and he had an eternity to live. YOLO or whatever the hell they said these days. It was always changing. Oh, well. But anyway! Yeah, he was going to have fun tonight. It was decided.
Walking down the Port Angeles street, Tris shoved his hands deep in the pockets of the leather jacket her wore. So dressing himself didn’t usually go so well. Not like he honestly cared though. He could probably just as easily pick up a chick with his charm as he would with his looks. The combination was deadly. But he didn’t look all that spectacular tonight. A plain t-shirt and a jeans. Oh and Gwen’s leather band. But he wasn’t going to think about that tonight. He wasn’t going to say or do anything that would make him think about her tonight. Tris was having fun. That was that. The second the thought crossed his mind however, he knew that was going to be out the window in about ten seconds.
Sighing, he rounded the block corner to the massive strip of bars and clubs. The second he stepped onto the block, he could pretty much feel the base from the night clubs pounding through the cement. He looked down the strip and breathed deeply. The smells of human blood and booze was thick in the air. Sweet and inviting to the hungry vampire. But he held himself back. He was on strict animal diet now. He was trying to change. Mostly for Gwen. See? It was out the window. Tristan moved down the crowded street of people hopping from club to club. He looked absently at the names of the clubs. When he came to one he thought he liked he slipped into line.
He didn’t wait for long and went right on inside. The bouncer didn’t even card him. Once inside, Tristan made a beeline for the bar. Of course he couldn’t get drunk, but he was going to act like a normal human. Ordering a bottle he was served right away, mostly because the club was just starting to get crowded and customers hadn’t flocked to the bar counter right away yet. Backing up, his strange golden eyes swept around the room. A couple vampires mingling with humans. Normal. It was easy prey around here. Especially, since the drunker the bait was the less they seemed to notice the strange eyes. He moved back into a corner, where he couldn’t be see right away. For a long time he just people watched. Everyone seemed to be talking to someone else. He was starting to think this was a bad idea.
Tristan had stood in the corner for what seemed like hours. His beer bottle hung in his hand, left still untouched from the time he got it. He was honestly just about to leave, mainly back there was nothing interesting going on when he noticed a girl walk through the door. She was alone, but pretty. That surprised Tris and he grew curious. A girl like her just didn’t walk into a night club without a date or a gaggle of other girls behind her. He watched as she went straight to the bar and claimed a stool, ordering a drink when the bar tender came her way. He waited another moment or two; she had turned around as was looking at the mingling people throughout the bar. No one came to join her. Tris looked around the bar, lifted the bottle to his lips and threw his head back, taking one large swig. The disgusting liquid flowed down his throat and into his stomach. It tasted worse than it used to, and he like the taste of beer before. It was the stupid vampire thing. Screw looking “normal”.
Making his way nonchalantly toward the girl, Tris threw on a charming smile as he neared. Hey, he said he wanted to have a bit of fun tonight. As he drew closer, he nodded his head at the girl. She looked maybe early twenties. “Now what is a pretty little lady like yourself doing here all alone?” |
he asked, charm turned all the way up. With one hand he placed his beer on the counter, and held his hand out to the woman. “I’m Tristan. Tristan Blackstone. It’s a pleasure to meet you.” He sat down in the unclaimed stool next to the woman waiting for her to take his hand. Studying her face for a moment, he flipped her an encouraging little half smile. Tris’s signature ‘to-die-for’ look. The woman was extremely beautiful, only making his curiosity swell. Oh yeah, he was going to have a bit of fun tonight. [/div] ~:~ HOW MANY WORDS:: 887 ~:~ JUST A FEW NOTES:: tris is being tris!!! xD ~:~ STUCK IN MY HEAD:: WE ARE YOUNG ~~ Fun. Post by SERENA LYNN MCCOY on Apr 18, 2013 23:51:12 GMT -5
There were many things Serena could have been doing tonight. Things that kept her out of trouble, because she had recently escaped jail. And while her arrest was just a formality and nothing seriously the girl should really lay low for the sake of her species. And she would have. If she gave a damn. Serena had stopped caring about a thousand years ago, literally. There was no reason to start caring now. What did it get you really? You were attached to someone that could potentially slow you down or break your heart. Not to mention your emotions seemed to get in the way all the time. The guilt, the anger, the sadness. All things that would distract any normal being. They were emotions that made you second guess yourself and not truly enjoy they blessings around you. Yea, Serena wasn’t going to have any of that. That was bullshit. She was a vampire after all and a damn good one. Serena was grateful for defying all the laws of nature,
Sure the woman hated her nature to begin with…like the first year or two of her transformation. And who wouldn’t really? Everyone was rejecting her and dying. Anyone would hate their life if they were in her shoes back then. But once Serena learned how to turn off her emotions she started to enjoy her vampire nature. Honestly it was the only thing Serena really cared about anymore. She loved having a great power over the weak humans. Vampire struck fear in the human heart. As they should. They were great and powerful beings. They were ten times stronger than any other being on the planet. Faster too. And even some lucky ones got an extra kick and were granted with an ability. The only thing Serena didn’t like about herself was that she glittered in the sunlight. Who does that? That was a little ridiculous. But it was better than burning in the sun. That would really put a damper on her life. The vampire couldn’t sleep so if she was stuck inside a building for a whole day, she would probably kill herself. Or go crazy and kill a whole village. Not that Serena hasn’t already killed a whole village already; she just did it when she was sane. It wouldn’t be the same if she was crazy.
But anyways! Serena walked down one of the many Port Angeles street. She had paused for a couple seconds, considering stopping at the mall. She was due for some new clothing. A lot of her stuff was out of date but she somehow managed to make it all look better. It really sucked trying to keep up with all of these trends. If she didn’t love herself too much Serena would still be wearing clothes back from when she was a human. But no that would expose her species and she would ultimately die at the hands of the Volturi. Again it really came down to Serena loving herself. But she decided against shopping for the day. She would do that tomorrow. Instead she decided to go get drunk again, because that worked out so well the first time. Hopefully this time she wouldn’t end up in jail with a grumpy vampire again. Hopefully she wouldn’t end up in jail. The only thing Serena would accept is maybe some drunken and meaningless sex. That was probably the only thing she would truly accept from this night.
The blonde vampire caught site of a nightclub that she never visited before. Which was rare, especially in this small city-like area. The vampire pushed her way to the line, ignoring all the glares and color exclamations. Before the bouncer could tell her to get to the end of the line, she grabbed his hand and used a little of her power on him. The bouncer look at her like a starving child would look at a hamburger. Serena winked at him and quickly made her way into the nightclub. The blonde quickly went to the bar, she needed some alcohol in her system before she interacted with anyone. Serena might seem like an apathetic person but she wasn’t very patient when it came to other people. The female vampire sat down, gracefully, on a stool and glanced around the bar. She waved the bartender down. “Screwdriver, please. And don’t be stingy with the vodka,” Serena instructed. Vodka, her favorite poison. If she was going to pay twenty dollars for a drink then she was going to enjoy it.
Before the blonde could even take a sip of her drink someone came up to her. She was surprised that she didn’t hear or smell him coming before he actually arrived. That was probably one of the few things Serena actually hated about the night life. It made it difficult to smell and hear things. Something she was getting adjusted to. Or trying to at least. Every time she was adjusted they came out with another thing to throw off her senses. Serena turned her attention to the male vampire as he used a pick up line. S could tell he was trying his hardest to be charming. But she was thousand years old, she’s see it all and was impressed by none of it. “Aw, that’s cute. Did you practice that in the mirror?” she asked in a nonchalant tone as she took a sip of her drink. Serena set her drink down and stared at his hand. She grabbed it with the tips of her fingers and shook it once. She wasn’t looking for any friends tonight, but she was looking to have some fun. So Serena would try to get a feel for this vampire. It will only take her five minutes to make the decision over whether he was cool enough to entertain her or not. “Serena McCoy.”
