PERSONALITY:
Dodger definitely isn't going to be the girl standing by the door handing out free homemade cookies. You want sweet, go find Tegan. Her sister's demeanor a lot more suited to tattoo parlors and punk rock concerts. And that's not the only way the two girls are like yin and yang. Though neither of them are social butterflies, where Tegan's generally quiet, if Dodger has something to say, there's no way you wont hear it. Tegan will listen to you talk and give you good advice. Dodger will tell you to fuck off. Now, she's not entierly a horrible person- but you've really got to have an aquired taste for her sense for humor. She's blunt and sarcastic and her bullshit detector is 99.7 percent effective. She considers herself to be extremely good at reading people. Because, other than when they're trying to fuck you over, what else do you need to know?
She loves mysteries. She loves mythology and history and thats what got her into this whole damn mess. Her father was a navy man, and she's picked up a lot of traits from him. One of those things was hardcore loyalty. If Dodger believes in something or cares about someone, she'll kill or die for them, no second thoughts. Another one of those things was stubbornness. Dodger will not do a damn thing she doesn't want to do. You could be the king, the pope, the president it doesn't matter- she's not taking bogus orders. She has a very hard time admitting that she's wrong; however, she can be proven wrong- you've just better have an entire book of good reasons if you want to get anywhere with her. Most of the time, she needs to see things for herself. Aaand, that's another thing that got her into this mess.
Yeah, its a mess. She has a dark side. It turns her into a monster once a month. It makes her normal impulsiveness about three hundred times amplified. She absolutely blames herself for whaat happened to her and her sister and she sure as hell doesn't enjoy it. None the less, she's embracing it more and more subconsciously as she gets closer to her uncle Toni. Despite being an overall less pleasant person, Dodger is much less likely to blow up at you than her sister. Oh sure, she'll get angry. Hell, she'll hate you before she even gets to know you. But she's not a snapper. No, she's a grudger. She's bottle it up and keep it your years.. and make your life a living hell.
HISTORY:
Dodger and her twin sister Tegan grew up with their dad in New Orleans. Like most twins, they spent a lot of time together and were very close through their childhood. Though they had a lot of different interests, one thing that they shared was a fascination with their strange family history and missing relatives and the strange disappearances and things that were happening around them. The girls spent most of their time researching what they could, often unbeknownst to their father, and sneaking in late with some excuse or another as to where they were.
It had been Dodger's bright idea that night, that they took a shortcut instead of waiting around for a ride or even walking the main streets. The two of them were attacked by a werewolf, though they didn't know what it was at the time, and considered themselves lucky that they made it back alive. They didn't tell anyone what happened, just took care of their injuries and went on with their lives until the next full moon. For their dad's sake, they knew they couldn't stay there, and for the past few years, Dodger had been itching to follow the next piece of the puzzle in their investigation to Forks. The week after they graduated high school, they were gone.
Tegan found their uncle Dante.. accidentally... in a grocery store. They moved in with him. Dodger found their other uncle a few weeks later, but after hearing things Dante said about him, she decided it would be best to keep that information to herself... at least until she was sure she wasn't digging them another hole.
