PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION:
Serena is fairly tall for a woman of her life time. She is very slim and curvy, even before the transformation Serena was the image of the perfect woman. She is beautiful, curvy, and has tone where there needs to be tone. She also has long blonde hair that goes perfect with her Barbie doll looks. Her hair is generally curled in a perfect fashion, something she will spend hours doing.
Serena likes cool colors for her clothing. She likes blacks and dark blues. She has an obsession with leather jackets and black leather boots. She won’t go anywhere without her leather jacket or leather boots, no matter what the weather is like outside. It obviously doesn’t affect her. While other people would assume she is a dress and skirt kind of girl. That is not the case. Serena prefers pants and shorts above all else. They are easy for her to run and hunt in. Plain and simple.
PERSONALITY:
To put it simply, Serena does not care. She has clearly lived long enough and been through enough to build walls up. She isn’t hostile or mean, she just doesn’t care. Her theory is “the less you care, the more fun you’ll have”. So in that sense Serena is very honest and sarcastic, she does not censor herself. Honestly she doesn’t do it to be mean, she can just not put the effort into caring about feelings and what not. This approach surprisingly makes for a very calm vampire overall.
Serena likes to have fun and can be easily bored. The only time she puts effort into anything is when she is hunting, playing with her food, and having her sexual way with pretty much anything. Except animals and inanimate objects, she isn’t that weird. Due to her power, she is very good at flirting with everybody. This is how she has fun. Well this and messing with humans. Terrorizing them and just having her way with them. Of course she is smart about it and knows not to go as far as exposing herself. It would be bothersome to get a visit from the ‘vampire police’.
HISTORY:
Serena was born to a “middle class” family. Back when she was born they really didn’t have that classification but at the same time her family was neither poor nor rich. She was the youngest of five children. She had four older brothers. Her father was a Scottish farmer whilst her mother did the only thing women did back then. Take care of the house. Being the only girl kid, Serena often did things outside of the box. She liked to hunt and play in the dirt with her brothers. As a child she just wanted to have fun, she didn’t want the responsibilities of being one out of two women in the house. Her parents were really disappointed in this and would often try to punish her. Which would never work.
Around her teen years, her father was able to arrange a marriage into a wealthy family for her. Unbeknownst to the family, he had a debt with the rich and this was how he was going to repay it. Seeing as the girl was one of the prettiest in the country. Serena, once again not being the typical girl, was dead set against this. A year went passed as the two families tried to arrange the marriage. She was about 18 at the time when her family heard the truth about the marriage. Torn between sticking by her morals and helping her family, Serena and two of her brothers fled. The other two stuck around to deal with the mess, knowing very well they couldn’t let their younger sibling go through with it.
The three siblings managed to settle into a couple towns away from their home. This is where they stayed for three years under different names. It was around her 21st birthday when she fell in love with her brother’s friend. They were set to be married when the siblings heard about their family being treated poorly. Her father was dead, her brothers were slaves, and her mother became a prostitute. The oldest of the three went back to their home to see if they could work things out.
The only way to make it right was if they had Serena marry their son. Once again the girl was torn. She went for a walk one night when she came upon a stranger. The female vented to the stranger about her problems and the stranger promised that he could take her problems away. Not knowing what he meant, Serena stupidly agreed and suddenly he was biting her neck. Before she knew it everything went black and she was writhing in pain. Three days later, her other brother and her lover found her laying in the woods. She stood up and noticed the fear in their eyes when they saw her. Serena was a vampire.
She reached out to them and the simple touch of her hand made them both fall into lust and they were no longer scared. Of course this didn’t last long when the hunger overcame her and she fed off of them. Ultimately killing them. The stranger had appeared once again and explained what she was and how she could avenge her family. Going back to her original home, Serena immediately took revenge and killed the family that tortured hers. When she was done, she tried to go back to whatever was left of her family. But they wanted nothing to do with her. Being rejected by her family and the boy she loved, Serena ran. Luckily the boy was not her mate so the sting of it was not as great as the rejection of her family.
After that Serena roamed the world, just doing things her way. Despite the pain and suffering he first went through as a vampire, Serena felt free. She finally had the ability and skills to do whatever she wanted. She was going to have fun and no longer care. Serena had learned caring for people did her no good. And when she put emotions and feelings into things, you were no longer having fun. After 100 years, Serena caught wind of the small town called Forks where a multitude of vampires seem to be residing in. Thinking of it as the perfect opportunity to create trouble, she set off and is now living in Forks. Waiting to have some fun.
