Victoria sprawled her body out on the worn out couch. She had put her newborn army in an abandon ware house, which magically had an office. The only people allowed in here were her and anybody she invited in at the time. Which was pretty much Riley and her newfound ally Maria. She just used the office when she was sick of the idiots that filled the building. Which was the majority of the time. Victoria just wished she could slap some sense in them. They were so annoying and headache inducing. What was more troublesome was all the work she had to put into manipulating the whole. When she was in a coven with James and Laurent she didn’t have to do much work. The only time she put true effort into anything was when her and James played their games. Oh how to she missed James.
James was her true mate, not Riley. But she couldn’t let the other boy know that. Everything relied on his loyalty to her. Which was she more than positive she had it. Though she would never admit it, he did keep good company. And kept her from ripping the others apart. He was also good to play with when she was bored or irritated. Unless she was irritated at him. Which wasn’t as rare as one might think. Victoria was just a moody and bipolar vampire. And her moods only worsened when James was killed by those filthy Cullens. They killed him to protect that waste of space human, Bella. Just the name put distaste in her mouth. She always felt like she ate something bitter when she thought about that insufferable human being. She was the reason her James was dead. Her and that big haired, whiner Edward. She let out growl as she ripped so of the fabric off the couch.
Anger was welling up in her, she needed to calm down otherwise she would do something regrettable. Though at this point the only thing she would really do was go after the Cullens and kill Edward now. But it wasn’t ready. The army wasn’t ready. It was just so much work! And so bothersome. She wanted an edge on that clan and on those annoying shifters. The smelly devils that were next door to the Cullens. Why must the world be such an irritating place? Would anyone really miss the Cullens? They were so self-righteous and thought their way was the best way. Surely the majority of the vampire population was annoyed with them and wouldn’t really object to them being gone. Though that father one would probably be missed. Maybe she should spare him and let him live in the misery she will cause. No, he’ll have too many followers to come after her. He was to die with the rest of them.
Just thinking about the Cullens pissed the red head beyond recognition. Yes she needed to calm down. She needed her toy. Though at this point he just might things worse. It was worth a shot though. Victoria sprang to her feet and walked over to the office door. She opened it and stepped halfway out. The office was a platform of some sort that made it easy to overlook everything that went on in the building. “Riley!” she screeched, her shrill voice echoed off the walls. Victoria quickly went back to the couch, she was sure he heard her and was no doubt on his way up. The red head once again sprawled across the couch and waited for her toy to enter the room.

Riley paced around the room, lecturing the newborns who'd been complete idiots last night (yes, that was all of them). It had taken much longer than he wanted to round them up and clean up their mess and there were a few he wouldn't mind dropping off a 500 ft mountain range (okay, so.. if they all dropped off a 500 ft mountain range and into a bed of sharp rocks and alligators he wouldn't complain). He swore they couldn't have been more conspicuous if they put an honest effort into it... Victoria had been gone and just gotten back and shut herself in her office, which said that she wasn't in a good mood.. and that (along with having the deal with all the moronic newborns) ensured that Riley wasn't in a good mood.. Yes, that meant that everyone in the warehouse was going to have to deal with it. This wasn't the angriest Riley had ever gotten, but he'd certainly like to have the luxury of laying around on a couch with a shut door between him and the stupidity, responsibilities be damned.
If babysitting the morons hadn't been bad enough, Riley was almost sure he knew where Victoria had been. Or rather, who Victoria had been with. Riley wasn't sure how he felt about the woman Victoria was working with, Maria. Actually, he knew how he felt. He didn't trust her... But Victoria did, and so he'd treat her cordially.. well, cordially enough. Only with slightly less malice than he treated the newborns. Victoria might have let him pick them out, but that didn't change the fact Riley didn't want them there. Sometimes, he didn't know why they needed anyone else. Yes.. Victoria had a friend, an idiot who'd gotten himself killed. But why he and Victoria couldn't just...leave. Leave Seattle, leave Washington, forget the Cullens, never have to deal with idiot newborns again. They could have so much more than this.. they deserved so much more than this.. but she wouldn't hear it. She wouldn't go until the Cullen's were destroyed, and so they would destroy them.
'Riley!' Speak of the devil.. Her voice echoed from upstairs, causing all the newborns to pause. It was enough to end his tirade. "Do not. Do. Anything." he ordered, turning a sharp glare and daring them to so much as move before walking out of the room. He took the stairs.. he supposed it was slow for vampire standards, but he knew not to keep his creator waiting long. Victoria was unpredictable on the best of days and of the many things Riley truly admired about her.. patience wasn't high on her virtues. He valued her company, as well.. not just compared to his alternative. Why? Eh. Because he's as crazy as she is, mostly. He opened the door to find her sprawled out on the couch. "Victoria.." there was a certain warmth to his voice which came in her presence, none the less he was hesitant, waiting for her lead.. It was clear who 'wore the pants' in this relationship.

Victoria glanced over at the doorway at the sad of his voice. She reminded herself that it wasn’t Riley she was mad at, it was the Cullens. So she would have to keep her emotions in check. Well at least try to, it was really all up in the air for the red head. She was moodier than a teenage girl on their period. It was horrible..for everybody around her. For her, it was pure entertainment. “Riley…” she addressed him with fake warmth. She was really trying here. She had to be nice to the guy every once and awhile so he believed that they were soul mates. When Victoria knew better than that. Her soul mate was James, not Riley. But he didn’t know that. And didn’t need to know that. Oh the many mind games she played with people. Out of knee jerk reaction really. It was a thing she did to help preserve herself.
“Come, sit my dear,” She commanded as she patted the small patch of couch next to her hip. She was still lying on the worn out couch. Victoria was too tired and lazy to really moved. But she didn’t feel like talking to her toy from across the room. How was she going to mess with him from across the room? “Come.here.” She stated it more forcefully this time around. Because a few seconds was too long for him to answer. He should be by her side automatically. Victoria shouldn’t have to wait for him. She was the one that wore the pants in the relationship. She was the demanding one and the one that should be catered to of course! How silly would it be for him to think otherwise. the red head relaxed a little when her command was meant. She twirled a red curl around her index finger absentmindedly. The anger fading from her face within seconds. She was so moody!
Victoria’s curl tightened around her finger slightly as she watched Riley carefully. Taking a deep and unneeded breathe, she titled her head slightly. “Riley, do you think I will succeed in my plan?” she asked, her voice mirroring that of a child’s voice. It was nice to hear unnecessary compliments. Even if they were from Riley. It would be nice to hear that she would succeed in killing the human girl. Her confidence needed boost..okay it really didn’t. But still! Victoria would also like to see where Riley’s head was at. If he was unsure about the whole plan, then she would have to change that. She would have to make him feel better about the whole thing. Because he was the only one that would be able to change the people into vampires. Alice was watching her, not him.

Easily believing her tone to be genuine, Riley fell into the false sense of security that he felt around his (orwhohethoughtwashis) mate. For some strange strange strange strange, have i mentioned strange? reason, Riley really did love Victoria. She was hardly affectionate with him. Hell, she was hardly nice to him. Yet, he was completely infatuated with her. He saw good things in her (don't ask me what they are).. and he really did believe that they were meant for each other. She was just so..obsessed with the Cullens. Cullens this and Cullens that and who cared? Yes, that is what Riley really thought abut the situation. Of course, there was no way he would ever say that out loud. He would never (intentionally) do anything to anger Victoria. He had nothing without her. He just wanted to get this stupid war over with.
She beckoned him over- well, demanded him over- well, beckoned him over and then demanded him over when he wasn't there in a split second. He immediately corrected his mistake. Riley would have been by her side automatically, but there were times when Victoria didn't want to be around anyone, even him, so trying to predict whether or not she wanted him there was... well, he basically couldn't ever win. For the moment, he just sat by her side compliantly, just where she'd motioned for him to be.
"Riley, do you think I will succeed in my plan?” Well, the topic of discussion never really was a surprise with her. "Of course I do." It wasn't the first time they had this conversation. While Riley thought the entire thing was unnecessary he had no doubts that the two of them and their army could destroy whatever the Cullens threw at them... if they even had anything to throw in the first place. "Of course," he repeated. "Everything is going perfectly." I mean, not counting the idiot newborns making a demolished playground out of the Seattle streets but.. it wasn't that nice a city anyway and.. Riley doubted Victoria really cared. He paused. "Why?" Always a dangerous question with her. He never knew what the hell she was thinking.

The word perfectly had such a beautiful ring to it in Victoria’s ear. She slowly sat up and stared intently at Riley. “Perfectly,” she muttered to herself as she carefully traced a circle in Riley’s cheek, using the tip of her nail. Victoria was slightly dazed by his response. Very rarely does Riley please her. But when he does, Victoria truly does appreciate it. And she has an odd way of showing it. Of course the appreciation only lasts for so long and quickly leaves. There is no mood Victoria feels longer than five minutes. At least not anymore. She wasn’t really sane to begin with but ever since James was taken from her, any small sanity she had left. It was like she was crazier than ever before. Like James had all her sanity and ripped it away the moment he died. Like her un-beating heart. The Cullens were going to pay for what they did. Them and that annoying Bella girl.
“Why?” Victoria echoed, and suddenly grabbed his chin. Her grip was tight. And would probably break a human’s jaw so Riley had to feel it. Whether it hurt him or not…well Victoria wasn’t sure. Nor did she really care. “Does there have to be a ‘why’?” She yanked her hand with such speed and power, she was relatively sure she left a mark on his chin with her nails. But he deserved it. She was the one asking the questions not him. And he didn’t need to know her reasons. He was her subordinate, nothing more than not. Even though he thought differently, due to her manipulation. But of course she had to keep that up to keep him on her side. The newborns were terrified of her but if push came to shove, some of them would pick Riley over her. Only because he spent more time with them and no doubt showed a little more compassion than she did. And of course there was the whole sanity thing.
Her appreciation for him left and he was once again just a means to an end. A stupid, annoying means to an end. But that’s what he was to her. She would be in big trouble if he could read her mind. Victoria sighed and rubbed her temples for a couple of seconds. “Let’s go back to how everything is going perfectly, shall we?” she asked trying to keep her voice from sounding like an angry growl. Victoria looked back at Riley with a blank face. Victoria knew that she had him wrapped around her little finger, so hopefully he wouldn’t read too much into her actions. It was Victoria after all. She was insane and crazily bipolar after all.

Perfect... The more Riley thought about it -them, their situation, their plans and how they were going- the less perfect it sounded. But Victoria seemed so happy, so convinced as she traced his cheek with her nail, that Riley could almost believe it himself. He could almost convince himself that it was worth it- that they were fighting for something, that when this was all over, things would be different and who are we kidding here. Had they stayed like that, she might have had him. He could go back to doing the world's worst job with some newfound vigor.. But they never stayed like anything for very long.
'Why?' He'd said the wrong thing. He knew it- he knew it even before the words had left his mouth, but he'd said them anyway, without much thought to the consequences. He was more attached to Victoria than he'd ever been to another human in his life, but unlike almost everyone else in the building, he wasn't scared of her. He wasn't scared to speak his mind in front of her. (Granted, he probably should have been..because that was the normal, and even smart response for how to deal with a psycopath) And now she was trying to break his jaw as a result. “Does there have to be a ‘why’?” He grimaced, placing his hand where hers have been a moment before. "No" he spat. Technically. I mean, technically, everyone had a reason for everything they said or did unless they were mental which was very likely in Victoria's case and thus why she had no answer.. It was clear though she she wasn't going to be telling him what it was.
He shifted on the couch, lowering his hand again, guard dissipating as she spoke. “Let’s go back to how everything is going perfectly, shall we?” He nodded slowly. Compared to other incident, Victoria had calmed down quickly. She hadn't been too angry. She hadn't actually hurt him. And Riley was clearly at a complete loss for how one sided and abusive this relationships was soo, he was going to go back to trying to make her happy. He wanted her happy..not particularly because he cared for her but because when she was happy he wasn't getting yelled at and attacked and it was kind of a nice change of atmosphere. None the less, the water was still murky and he was still going to push his limits. They made a great couple. "You don't really care how they're doing-" he commented coolly, smirking. They both knew that it was true.. not for the same reasons, of course. "Don't we have better things to talk about?"

Victoria was glad that Riley went with the mood change. It would be easier for her to do damage control that way. And surely she wouldn’t have to do much damage control. Victoria was very much aware of the fact that Riley wanted to make her happy. And very much aware of how attached he was to her. She wasn’t stupid. A psychopath maybe, but not stupid. Psychopaths tended to be smart and calculating. Manipulative. Because they had no emotions, they had no feelings. They could think with a clear head and think logically. They used their heads, not their hearts. And while Victoria’s rage was fueling her need for revenge. She was able to put it to the side to think clearly and plan everything. There were no other emotions she had to deal with anyways. She didn’t feel love for any of them. She wasn’t attached to any of them. Anger was the only emotion she felt, and everything else was off.
But she couldn’t let Riley see or know that. So Victoria gave him a soft smile. “Your right, I don’t care,” Victoria said in a smooth voice as she leaned closer to Riley. The girl was crazy. Certifiably crazy. Yet Riley seemed to be attached to her and she knew exactly how to play with that. Do what any girl does to get what she wants. Play on the male’s hormones. It was the one thing, no matter what they said; they did not have control of. The one thing that controlled the males that they could not control. James was like that too, obviously, he was a male. How do you think she was able to calm him down when he got irritated with her? Other than keep things interesting in their cat and mouse games, Victoria was pretty good at sex and appealing to hormones. It was something that she was good at even before the whole psychopath thing kicked in.
Victoria lightly kissed Riley’s jaw, making sure to hit the spot her hand was. Victoria slid her hand under Riley’s shirt and pulled back slightly. “Do you really want to talk?” She took her hand away from his skin and quickly took off her jacket and shirt. This is what happens when Max leaves Ally alone to get fast food. Victoria got up on her knees and laid her lips hard on his. She pressed her chest against his forcefully. Obviously Victoria was the top in this relationship. One of her hands grabbed the back of his neck while the other, once again, found its way under his shirt. She pulled her lips away from his and began to kiss down his neck. Surely this would make up for the earlier outburst. Plus Victoria knew that she had to keep him attached to her. And she rather have sex (something that was meaningless to her) than talk and pretend to care about the things he said.

THE BROKEN HEARTED

[/color] Riley knew that with Victoria the best thing to do was ride out the waves wherever they took him. He'd learned what happened when he crossed her wrong the hard way and he wasn't exactly eager for a repeat. The way she reacted to his last comment almost surprised him. Almost- because to an extent, he did know her. He could predict certain things, sometimes. Other times, it was like she'd come from outer space. Then again she was a woman. (he wasn't saying this out loud for fear of certain death.) They were all pretty difficult and bipolar. He guessed vampire chicks were just twice as bad. I mean, there had to be some kind of PMS...lets just not go there.
The soft smile and the kiss almost fooled him. They didn't really- but he knew the worst of her mood swings were over. As far as everything else went, well, Riley wasn't stupid (Okay, so, Riley thought he wasn't stupid. Whether he actually is or not is kind of up for debate given the circumstance). He knew that James had been more than just Victoria's 'friend'. He knew she loved him... or she thought she did anyway. But even knowing that, he wasn't jealous of James. Why? Because James was dead. And from what Victoria told him, he was an idiot and he deserved it, so Riley didn't feel sorry for him in the slightest. And he didn't feel sorry for Victoria either, because the way he saw it, she'd ended up with something better (ego check isle one, kay thanks bye.)
'Do you really want to talk?' It was a good thing his answer wasn't going to be yes, because Victoria was taking her clothes off before he had the chance to say anything. Riley smirked, clearly thinking she'd come around and he'd won this one. After all, this was how most of their conversations ended up. A much needed stress release for both of them (even those Riley clearly had the harder job as far as putting up with crazy people and idiots went). This was how she reminded him that it was going to be worth it.
He returned the kiss when she pressed her lips on his and spoke when they broke away. "No, I think I like this better." He slipped his shirt off and threw it over by hers somewhere, and let Victoria have at it with the kissing (because if she was in the mood to be affectionate, you didn't rush her). He could be patient, for a certain amount of time. Granted, it wasn't long. She got to the bottom of his neck and he slipped a hand behind her, pulling her on top of him and both for them so they were laying on the couch. The rest of the clothes..well you know where this was going. Ally is in this thread after all. "If the entire downstairs is destroyed by the time we're done" he kissed her again, "It's not my fault."

He needed to pstop speaking. Every time she heard his voice, she wanted to punch babies. But she hid her irritation from him as the physical touch deepened between them. This was her trying to seem somewhat tolerable. It seemed to work for the horny vampire. “Good,” she muttered as her hands went to his pants and quickly undid them. Again, having sex for her was no big deal. Victoria has had many one night stands in her life time. The only time it meant something was when she had sex with James. Because for all she knew he was her mate. Anybody else didn’t matter outside of that. She did bond a little with Laurent but when he died she didn’t shed a tear. It was really no big deal to her. He was stupid enough to confront Bella in the wolf territory when James had already attacked her months ago. He should have known that people would be on high alert around the stupid human girl.
The pile of clothes seemed to grow, obviously. “It’s okay, we’ll just find another place to stay.” Preserving the building was the last thing on Victoria’s mind. Clearly. After things quickly escalated to what we all know was going to happen, Victoria walked over to the piles of clothes and grabbed her skinny jeans. She glanced around the room and noticed the very obvious damage the two of them caused. It was nothing compared to what happened when her and James had sex. Building have literally crumbled because of them. They destroyed so many places that they just started saving time and having sex outside. Though that caused some deaths of trees. But who need trees when you were a sexually driven vampire. Everything was truly perfect between her and James until they got to Forks. Stupid Bella. She ruined everything! Her and that big haired vampire, Edward. Like seriously he needed a new hair style, it was really stupid and did not fit his face.
“Well that was fun,” Victoria stated in a dry tone as she pull her white shirt over her head. Her red curls were more in disarray than they normally were. She readjusted the shirt on her before turning to Riley. Surely he was redressing himself to. She was done with him. She didn’t get what she needed, which annoyed her. But at least she strengthened that bond he thought they had. Once this was all done, she couldn’t wait to get rid of him. Honestly Victoria had come up with three different plans to ditch Riley. One of them being dropping him off on the Volturi’s doorstep with a note that indicated that he was the one behind the new born army. Another was just letting the Cullens kill. Or the obvious, dump him. The third one wasn’t as fun or as dramatic as the other two. But it would be efficient.
