PERSONALITY:
Jared is, in one word, obnoxious. He likes to take serious situations and completely ruin them. He can’t really stand anything serious. He enjoys cracking jokes and making others feel more comfortable. Jared has a very light-hearted and joking kind of personality. He enjoys his life as a shifter more so than most, but that’s only because he has imprinted and he is just that type of person. He’s like the older version of Quil and Seth, maybe a little more tame than Seth.
This male shifter has a tendency to make a lot of bets. He is a big gambler, especially around his pack. Honestly he has a problem that he does not want to fix. Plain and simple. Jared is extremely loyal to his pack. His loyal is especially strong with their leader Sam. Not only because he is the alpha but Jared considers the man one of his closest and dearest friends. He also, obviously, extremely loyal to Kim. His imprint. Jared does have a soft and serious side around her, though it rarely comes out. Along with gambling Jared has a problem with dares. He seems to think due to his superior eyesight that he is rather invincible and can do anything. So dares mean nothing to him
RP SAMPLE:
Jared sprinted up to the cliff; he was going to jump today. With or without the others. He had been waiting for decent weather to hit LaPush. And it was finally here, he was not going to miss this opportunity to jump off the cliffs. It was like the cold bothered the shifter, he had supernatural body heat after all. But the wet and dampness was pretty annoying to him. It was just too dang humid in this place. But this was his home and he wasn’t willing to change that. Jared yanked his shirt off as he neared the edge of the cliff. This was it. He came to a sudden stop as he looked down at the open water. Grinning, Jared lightly shook his hands and backed up a little bit.
Taking a deep breath, Jared went into a full out run until there was no longer ground underneath his feet. Then there was the fall. The adrenaline that pumped through his veins was amazing. The wind that blew against his body as he free fell was one of the best things he ever felt. The male shifter was somewhat of a gambler and adrenaline junky. Cliff diving was the best way to get an adrenaline rush. Well that and tell your imprint that you imprinted on them and that you were a shifter. That was definitely a wild feeling.
Though Jared got lucky with Kim. She had already liked him and was completely cool about the whole shifter thing. Honestly this shifter was the luckiest person he knew. Everything in life was good. The whole shifter thing didn’t bother him like the others. He reveled in it. Jared prepared himself for impact as the water neared. His body connected with his naked chest. It felt like needles. It was the only part that Jared disliked about cliff diving. But he couldn’t exactly dive onto solid ground. That would hurt a lot, if it didn’t kill him.
Jared broke through the water and let out a huge sigh as oxygen began to fill his lungs once more. He glanced back up at the cliffs and could smell the scent of his other pack members. Wow, way to be tardy guys! Well better late than never as Quil would say.
