NICKNAME(S):
~ Pete
~ Petey/Petey-Pie (by Keisha and Dev)
~ Tama (means Thunder… by Keisha)
GROUP: SHHHHHHIIIIIIIFFFFTTTTTERRR x3 *cough* shifter >_>
ABILITY: his sisters pack of course! xD
AGE: looks 17, really about 198
PLAYBY: Wesley Quinn
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION:
Pete is a normal height for a guy of 17. His looks have been frozen to that of a 17 year old while he is really 198. He is fairly muscled, though he doesn't actually take the time to work out much. His muscles still are very nicely carved and come in handy while running with his sister.
Like his sister, Pete's hair is a shock of blonde. Normally his bangs are long enough to fall into his eyes, but he very often has them spiked up. His eyes, like his sister's, are the same cold ice grey eyes of his mother. He received the scar on his left shoulder when he was only 3, from getting bitten by a stray dog (ironic isn’t it?) that had been wandering around the reservation. The wound was deep enough that Pete was left with a scar in its place.
Pete is normally dressed in baggie black jeans and a tight black shirt. Unlike his sister, he will actually dress for the weather. This for the most part is to try and blend in with the crowd rather than stand out. His scar his pretty much hidden under his t-shirt, but there is a small part of it that can be seen from underneath his sleeve. But like his sister, Pete will only dress up formally when necessary. When he does go formal, he normally wears a pair of black pants, a light blue shirt, and a black jacket that is open more often than not.
As a wolf, Pete isn’t as big as a bear but not as small as a dog either, making him only a bit taller then Keisha is. His fur is an abnormal fiery red, and his ice grey eyes change into melding amber ones. He is rather muscular, being built more for fight then he is for stamina.
PERSONALITY:
As far as first impressions go, Pete would come off as quiet. He’s really shy and isn’t one to speak unless spoken too. He, like his sister, likes to keep a low profile. Pete likes more to blend in with the crowd then do anything else. Keisha is the closest person Pete has ever gotten too ((understandably)) but he’s very willing to make friends.
As people get to know him, Pete’s quite bubbly and active. Many people will tell him that he has the mentality of a four-year-old child and he’ll just laugh it off. Pete is a true kid at heart but when he needs to be, he is very mature for his age. Though a little rebellious at times, Pete had learned to listen to his sister’s wishes. He normally hates lying to the others, but being a bit rebellious he could get away with a few things ((a fake ID for one)).
Responsibility was never an issue for Pete, since he and Keisha lived alone. He looks at his older sister with the greatest respect imaginable and is very close to Keisha. He’d do anything to keep his sister safe, as he knows she would do for him. Many would say if they knew his father, that this determination was a gift from him. Once Pete sets his mind to something he will get it done. He is also the one who keeps Keisha in reality when she decides to space out on him.
HISTORY:
Pete was born a two short years after Keisha was. He was happy to say he led a normal life, sticking close as possible to his sister whenever he could. Pete was only three when his father told him the shifter legends. He doesn’t remember the details quiet as well as his sister does, but there was no doubt in his mind that he would soon follow in his father’s footsteps.
Two years later, Pete’s world crashed around him. He had won a battle against Keisha earlier in the day, but it certainly wouldn’t prepare him for what lie ahead that fateful day. Pete was clinging to Keisha’s hand as the kids sprinted back to the house from a run with their father in the woods. Behind them they were able to hear their father’s heavy paws, and then it suddenly stopped, replaced by a sharp whine and a noise that was forever etched into the children’s brains. Pete couldn’t bring himself to look at his mother as the kids neared the house, he didn’t want to see her dead. But at the sound of her voice he looked up, just at the wrong moment. Right in front of the two kids, a newborn vampire attacked their mother, ripping her limb from limb right in front of the eyes of the two kids.
Keisha brought Pete to a small cave not far from their house, but it was a safe place. Pete fell into an uneasy sleep, pictures of blood and death haunting his dreams. When they went home the next morning, Pete watched his sister change into her wolf form. Two years later, just as Keisha had at seven years old, Pete transformed into the blood red wolf form. Pete was able to talk his sister into staying at the house for ten more years. Though Keisha agreed, they struggled every step of the way. Finally, Keisha was nineteen and Pete was seventeen at the time, Keisha decided it was time for them to move on. Pete, wanting to stay at home but also not wanting to lose his sister, agreed to leave Forks for, what he though, was good. Together they snuck off the reservation as wolves, but neither knew that staying wolves would slow the aging process.
Together as wolves, Pete and Keisha traveled the United States, sometimes with wild wolf packs, but most of the time as Wanderers. They only changed, if they ever needed it, to scrounge up some money or to travel overseas. The kids spent the better part of two centuries in Romania’s back-country, leaving only to fight the wars that needed to be fought, and always, which Pete noticed, the winning side. Then one day, Keisha told Pete that they needed to go back home. He was both enthused and torn, at the thought of going back after so long, but if Keisha was going he would follow. Back in the states, the siblings moved for miles at a time without sleep until they finally came to the edge of Port Angeles.
RP SAMPLE:
it’s a supplement to Keisha’s, so if you read them together they make sense xD
Pete leaned back against the jagged mountain edge. His arms were crossed and his eyes were focused on the lights of Port Angeles. ”After all the trouble we caused, back in the day, do you think we were missed at all?” Pete muttered to his sister, with a slight grin in his voice. He chuckled lightly at her answer. ”Yeah… I didn’t think so.” Like his sister next to him, Pete wasn’t sure what exactly to think about being home again. He was happy for sure, but it felt strange all the same. One of those surreal moments… kinda like déjà vu.
The December wind whipped up the fresh powdered snow, and swirled around Pete and his sister. He took a deep breath of the fresh air. He had missed this place quiet a bit. He nodded slowly at his sister’s words. Home. Could they really call it home after so long being gone? They were born here. They’d gone through hell here. So what if that really was home? But Pete didn’t care what they called it. His home was with Keisha, no matter where she went, he was going to follow. Because, they were always there for each other, and they were going to continue to be there for a long time. ”Alright, let’s roll,” Pete said with a nod, and shrugged off the mountain side.
Pete followed his sister’s lead, jumping down the rocky slope. He watched her change gracefully into her wolf form, before, mid-jump, he did the same. With a slight wolfish grin he thought to her, You’re such a show off, you know that right? His sister was a show off, and she knew it. But she didn’t care. He didn’t either. His strength was from her. And her alone. He didn’t know if he had any of his own, he probably did, but for now, he was proud to call her his sister. Together they rivaled every challenge they were faced with.
He looked up finally to the soft lights of Forks. Home wasn’t that far anymore and his heart leapt. So many memories were here. The good and the bad. But the town had probably changed so much since they had left. The La Push pack maybe was gone, maybe it wasn’t. The Cullen’s maybe weren’t there anymore, but maybe they were. Maybe more newborns had moved into the town, maybe they hadn’t. The ‘maybes’ piled themselves high with pride in Pete’s head. But the answers would be apparent soon enough. Pete was fairly sure that they’d be back in Forks before dawn broke.
